I teach at the ArtEZ Conservatory of Zwolle, both modern horn and hand horn. Besides I am mentor of the masterstudents. I like very much to coach ensembles, both professional and amateur. Conducting or just coaching.

Every year I teach a group of master students, all instruments, in an audition-training course.

Since I took some lessons with Willem van der Vliet a few years ago, I apply his method. Somewhat adapted to the specific problems of the French horn. The position of the tongue and of the soft pallet play an essential role in shaping the sound.
